You have been accepted into the online pilot program.

We are delighted to offer you admission to the Missouri Auction School online pilot program for the June 2020 class.  


To receive the maximum education the student must be available on the following days:

June 10 (Wednesday), June 11 (Thursday), and June 12 (Friday)  The student will be expected to listen to the online lessons learning the basics of a good chant.  The student will need to practice these beginning chant principles. The student needs to allow between 1-3 hours for practicing the principles in each of the lessons.  These days will be listening to the lessons & practicing. 

June 13 (Saturday) thru June 21 (Sunday at 3pm CST)  The student will have access to all of the auction business lectures.  The student may take these classes any time during this period.  Listening to these auction business lectures will be necessary for the student to understand the auction principles that will be covered on the final exam on June 21 (Sunday available at 5pm CST through Monday, June 22 at 5pm CST). 

June 13 (Saturday) and June 14 (Sunday).  These two days will include a small group chant class (Video conference by Zoom or conference phone call) each day with an auctioneer instructor.  The remainder of the time on these two days, the student should practice the chant on their own for a few hours to prepare for the next day’s small group chant class (Video conference by Zoom or conference phone call).  The student will be assigned a conference call time.  Instructions will be provided for the student with directions on how to call into the conference call.

June 15 (Monday), June 16 (Tuesday), June 17  (Wednesday), June 18 (Thursday), and June 19 (Friday) will be OPTIONAL small group chant improvement (Video conference by Zoom or conference phone call) with several Missouri Auction School instructors & auctioneers. The dates and times will be dependent on the auctioneer teacher’s schedule.   The student is not required to participate in any of these sessions.  The student can sign up for any conference call (Video conference by Zoom or conference phone call) chant improvement sessions.  SEE BELOW for information on the OPTIONAL conference call sessions.

June 21 (Sunday)   The final exam will be taken online by the student available at 5pm CST through Monday, June 22 at 5pm CST.  This exam must be completed by Monday, June 22 at 5pm CST. 

 

REQUESTS FOR EXTENDED TIME TO FINISH THE CLASS

Students who wish to have more time to listen to the auction lectures may extend their class dates thru June 24 (Wednesday).  These students will take their final exam anytime on June 24 (Wednesday).  The Extension Late Fee for the extra 3 days to listen to the lectures is $150.  This makes the tuition $795 (reduced tuition for class beginning June 10) + Extension Late Fee $150 = $945

The extended class time is for listening to the auction lectures and does not include additional chant conference calls. Students who have not completed all requirements including the final exam by midnight Pacific Time June 24 (Wednesday) will not graduate, will not receive a diploma, and will not receive a refund.

Grading is on the following percentages: (A) 70 or above is passing; Below 70 is failure (B) Minimum grade considered satisfactory is 70 percent. (C) When the course is satisfactorily completed, the student will be issued a diploma.



Refund Policy: If the student withdraws any time up to Tuesday, June 9, student will receive 100% refund. After June 9, no refunds will be issued. To qualify for a refund the student must email info@auctionschool.com before midnight on June 9, 2020. No refunds will be issued to anyone other than the student.



I accept that the reduced tuition of $795 for Missouri Auction School Online Program is a pilot program and there may be glitches during the course. I accept that Missouri Auction School has made a substantial investment in and makes great efforts to protect the confidentiality of its business methods, instructional programs and other trade secrets that will be revealed during this online auction business and auction chant program. I further understand that the use of Missouri Auction School’s copyrighted materials may not be used to provide educational or informational services without the express written consent of the Missouri Auction School. As a material inducement to the Missouri Auction School to enter into this educational agreement, I agree that I shall not, either directly or indirectly, for myself or as an agent of another, or through others as their agent, engage in, or in any way be connected with an auction school or auctioneer organization to provide educational or informational services. This Agreement shall be governed by the substantive laws of the State of Missouri, and you agree that jurisdiction and venue shall be exclusive in the state court located in Jackson County, Missouri or the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri located in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

MONDAY, June 15 Instructor JON SCHABEN from Iowa - (Time of session to be assigned.) --- Jon is a former World Livestock Auctioneer Champion. He owns and auctions at livestock markets in Iowa and Nebraska. Jon also auctions real estate and estate auctions. Jon is known across Iowa as a fantastic charity/fundraiser auctioneer. ----- LIVE small group conference call sessions - (Optional but highly recommended)



MONDAY, June 15 Instructor: RON KREIS from Ohio --  (Time of session to be assigned.)  ---  Ron is a former World Livestock Auctioneer Champion.  Ron also sells purebred livestock.  In addition, Ron has sold many heavy equipment auctions across the US and Europe.  He has also sold at the largest annual Barrett-Jackson classic car auction in Phoenix. ----- LIVE small group conference call sessions - (Optional but highly recommended)



TUESDAY, June 16 Instructor: ROB NORD from Illinois -- (Time of session to be assigned.) --   Rob has owned and operated a prosperous auction company for decades.  His consignment auctions include farm and general merchandise. Other auctions are specialty auctions, like antique toys.   He also has a Real Estate Auction Service.  He has traveled across the US selling government auctions.  He has been featured on shows about high-value government seizure auctions. Rob will also discuss online auction options for live auctions  ----- LIVE small group conference call sessions - (Optional but highly recommended)



TUESDAY, June 16 Instructor: BRIAN LITTLE from Oklahoma --  (Time of session to be assigned.) --   Brian is a former International Livestock Auctioneer Champion.  He owns and auctions at his livestock market in southern Kansas.  He also conducts farm auctions. ----- LIVE small group conference call sessions - (Optional but highly recommended)



WEDNESDAY June 17 Instructor: DENSIL ALLEN from Missouri --  (Time of session to be assigned.)  ----  Densil has successfully conducted farm, household, and estate auctions for decades.   He has owned an auction company that has sold auctions in many states.  Densil has extensive experience selling charity auctions. ----- LIVE small group conference call sessions - (Optional but highly recommended)

THURSDAY June 18 Instructor:  DWAYNE CRAIG from Arkansas -  (Time of the session to be assigned.)   --  Dwayne is a former Arkansas State Champion Auctioneer. Dwayne has owned several Real Estate Auction companies in Oklahoma & Arkansas. He has sold real estate at auction across the U.S. working as a contract auctioneer for a New England auction company.  In addition, Dwayne has sold auto auctions for over 10 years.  He has sold heavy equipment auctions in the US, Europe, & the Philippines.  Dwayne has sold estate auctions and antique auctions. ----- LIVE small group conference call sessions - (Optional but highly recommended )
